BFB plus was founded in Hungary in 1991 with international management and a clear ambition: to become a trusted production partner for the European pet food market.
What started as a small-scale operation has grown — steadily, deliberately — into one of Central Europe's leading manufacturers of bird and small mammal food. Not through shortcuts, but through consistent investment in people, technology and capacity.

In 2022, we installed our own solar panel park — reducing our dependence on the grid and cutting the carbon footprint of every product we manufacture. Renewable energy is not a future plan. It is already running our facility.

We operate a structured recycling programme across all production and logistics processes. Waste is not an afterthought — it is actively managed at every stage.
